The 361 Degrees Spire 3 maintains its position in the 361 line up as their most premium neutral everyday road running shoe but receives a revamped upper and an updated midsole design.What's NewThe midsole was slightly redesigned to enhance cushioning upon heel impact while increasing responsiveness in the forefoot. The heel-to-toe drop lowered from 12mm to 9mm. The new engineered mesh upper will increase comfort while remaining lightweight and breathable. Featuring 361's painted QU! KFOAM midsole material directly under the heel gives the Spire 3 a softer landing with better impact absorption. As you move to the forefoot, the responsive QU! KFOAM material slopes down and sits underneath a firmer material which gives the shoe a springier toe-off. To increase efficiency and contribute to the springy toe-off, designers included a carbon fiber plate in the midfoot of the midsole. Moving on up, the Spire 3s internal midfoot webbing and lightweight mesh upper work together to comfortably hold your foot in place throughout your stride.
